Our Mission
The Phoenix ATV / UTV Club is a Phoenix-based All-Terrain-Vehicle (ATV) / Utility-Terrain-Vehicle (UTV) / Side-by-Side (SxS) club established in the Fall of 2018 by a group of individuals who are dedicated to the sport of safe and responsible Off-Highway-Vehicle (OHV) riding in Arizona.
The Mission Statement and Purpose of the organization shall be consistent with those contained in the Articles of Incorporation, and shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
Section 4.1.1 – To enhance the experiences of ATV / UTV / SxS ownership and social club membership through the fellowship and sharing of riding experiences of its members via monthly meetings, educational programs, and OHV rides in the great outdoors of Arizona.
Section 4.1.2 – To provide an educational & recreational forum and become a leading source of local trail riding locations, staging and terrain information, and to answer general OHV inquiries for new members and people moving into the Phoenix region.
Section 4.1.3 – To organize, provide, and promote safe and environmentally-responsible recreational opportunities and activities, appropriate for members and their families, throughout Arizona but with a primary focus near the surrounding areas of Phoenix.
Section 4.1.4 – To advocate the sharing of common interests and exploring new terrain as well as helping to make the riding of All-Terrain-Vehicles a rewarding outdoor activity.
Section 4.1.5 – To promote and educate members and the general public in regard to responsible OHV riding along with safety, riding etiquette, sportsmanship, and awareness and respect for the environment.
Section 4.1.6 – To establish a working relationship and collaboration with OHV-related state and federal government agencies and with other All-Terrain-Vehicle clubs for the promotion, creation and maintenance of permanent OHV trails in the area and to be available at the call of State Agencies in emergency situations.
Section 4.1.7 – The Phoenix ATV / UTV Club is a responsible member of the OHV riding community. As such, the Club promotes safe, ethical, and responsible operation of OHVs during club rides in accordance with Arizona Revised Statute 28-1174A-D Safe and Responsible Operation of your OHV vehicle and in accordance with Arizona Revised Statute 28-1381 Driving or actual physical control while under the influence, which prohibits the operation of motorized vehicles, including OHVs, while under the influence of any substance that may impair the operator’s judgment or ability. Therefore, the Club prohibits the consumption or use of any substance during a club ride that has the potential to impair the operator’s judgment or ability.
