DESCRIPTION:OPEN TO THE PUBLIC – Sept 23-25\, 2022 Big Lake Camp & Ride near Alpine AZ – hosted by the Arizona OHV Ambassadors (AZ State Parks) \n \nhttps://www.facebook.com/events/393224466298941 \nCOURTESY ANNOUNCEMENT – THIS IS NOT A PAUC CLUB RIDE. \n  \nONLY 50 SPACES AVAILABLE!\nEMAIL OHV@AZSTATEPARKS.GOV THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION TO LOCK IN YOUR SPOT (50 Available):\n*Names of driver and any passengers\n*Phone Number\n*Vehicle Type\n*Camping YES or NO?\n\n\nThe Ambassadors are partnering with Apache County ATV to host a Camp and Ride Event near Big Lake in the Alpine AZ area. There will be dry camping at the staging area (33.889607\, -109.255608) near Alpine AZ however there are RV parks and hotels in Springerville/Eager (about 25 minutes away)\, the Pinetop-Lakeside area (about 30-40 minutes away)\, Greer (about 20 minutes away)\, and the Sunrise Resort (15 minutes away).   This event requires registration.\n\n\nRides will be offered Friday and Saturday. Rides will depart between 9a.m. and 10a.m. both days.\n\n\nBE PREPARED: This is a remote area\n– There are limited services. Bring extra fuel\, and emergency supplies\n– All vehicles must be street legal as we will be on county/USFS roads\n– Bring snacks\, lunch and plenty of water\n– The rides will be between 40 & 100 miles and take several hours each day\n– NO ALCOHOL on “Show Me Rides”.\n– Eye Protection is legally required for all riders\n– Helmets are required for all riders under the age of 18\n– We strongly advise purchasing a State Trust Land Recreation Permit for our rides.
