Hi Joe,
That is a nice Easy-Moderate rated ride. Your Polaris 800 should have no problem with the terrain. Red is planning to go through the Buckhorn Mountains via the Buckhorn Road to Constellation Road. From there, Constellation Road is a graded 2-lane dirt road to Wickenburg. On the return, he is returning using Buckhorn to Walkers Gulch to Cow Creek Road. It is a very scenic ride. If time allows, he may do his winding Blue Wash Canyon trail which is very fun to ride through. Happy Trails… Bob

If anyone going has a 4 seater with a couple empty seats, I’ll give 50$ and buy lunch in wickenburg if my girlfriend and I can ride with you… I’m new to these long rides and I’m trying to get a feel for what my Polaris can get thru with no problems… Thanks! We are not crossing the river, this is an out and back ride. There is a location or two by Sheep Bridge to cross when the river is low enough. We’d all like to watch you attempt to cross if you want to try 🙂

Just 100 @6:00, and the desert will cool down quickly. I’ll be bringing 2 extra layers to put on as the night progresses. It gets cool in the canyons at night.

Just confirming you are still doing Bulldog tonight. Wifey is concerned about the heat but I’m reminding her it’s a dry heat. 🙂 As of right now we’re still planning on it but don’t wait for us. We are driving our red General directly to the trailhead. We are not trailering.
